HWN represents survey report on earthquake victims of Baruwa

 Baruwa is remotely located and was heavily affected by the earthquake. 121 people were killed in Baruwa VDC, and 75 were killed in Ward 8 alone, resulting in one of the highest casualty rates (MOHA, 2015). Many families left due to their homes and livelihoods being destroyed. Community members are slowly returning to rebuild their lives; however, they cite that there is little support for improving opportunities for livelihood improvement or even rebuilding what was destroyed during the earthquake
